My wife asked me to purchase this for her. At first I was a bit skeptical but because it was affordable I bought it. Unpacking it revealed it came with a velvet-like case. It is small about 1 inch to 1.5 inches in diameter (as a result it folds neatly away). It has a rubberised base and an attractive floral (plastic?) finish on the top surface. The links unfold neatly to form a hook at the end. I don't have any specs on the weight limit but my wife tends to walk with a big handbag (and heavy) and it holds that easily. So it really does work as advertised and is a great little gizmo. Infact the only problem is now my wife is saying she should get more of them.

This is a gorgeous purse hook and works well. I have yet to run into a table with a top so thick that this won't fit, though I can see it might be a problem if you have really thick purse straps (mine are flat). I love that this purse hook is foldable and comes with a velvet pouch which makes it so easy to carry around inside your purse.

Though this is a pretty hook, it was was limited to the size of the table we were at in restaurants. Thick tables barely allowed this hook to hook on and then left no room for the purse straps. I was really disappointed at the limitation and bought another brand that gave more leeway.

I got the Asian Garden purse hanger a couple of month ago from the same seller. I paid over $14 + shipping for each so the current $12 something is a good deal.
I like both the design and the graphic. The hook is wrapped around the center piece to make carrying a total no-fuss. The little velvet carrying pouch that comes with it is a great touch, too. Although there's no bling but you can rest assured that no rhinestone will be missing. The graphic design is both tasteful and uderstated.
This is a great gift idea for your expensive handbag loving girl friends or as bridesmaid gift. It's great to have your beloved purse right in front of you by your legs at all time. No worrying to have it dirtied or stolen.
The only drawback is that if the table is thick or slanted, the hanger is useless.....
