Baby boomer, Generation X or GenY - If you are like most other women out there, then on some level you are battling everyday to get your life in balance. If you are a baby boomer, then perhaps you are trying to redefine some of those “traditional” roles you assumed when you were younger. If you are part of Generation X, you probably established your career a while ago and now you are trying to figure out how to keep your career at a peak and get to a point where you also feel like a good wife and mother. If you are part of Gen Y, then you are probably still just trying to figure the world out!
Regardless of the generation in which you would be categorized, you probably consider yourself smart and relatively sophisticated. I do. However, like most of the women I know, I battle everyday to balance my work life with my family life. I grew up believing that I could “have it all”, but NO ONE told me how hard it would be! Life is hard. Finding the humor in every situation and sharing that humor with my girlfriends, makes it easier.
I love the retro look of Anne Taintor items and the voice they give to every woman’s secret thoughts. Key chains, magnets, compact mirrors and note pads are great gifts for all my female friends. I can always find the perfect item to express our shared female frustrations!
