I don't use this much as actual pen, but I've taken it appart and put it together dozens of times and never had a problem with is falling apart. It handles ok while writing as well.

Bought these for my husband and he loves them! Not sure about the durability, but since I bought this for an adult, I'm not too worried.

This pen gets a lot of comments, but the top pieces fall off when you put it in a purse. Then it doesn't look like R2 anymore, so what's the point? But it sure is cute laying on my desk at work

One of my students had this pen. I have a penchant for pens, so I went to Toys R Us, and they couldn't keep them in store. So I went to Amazon. Love them.

This was a Christmas present for my young grandson. He loved it! An adult had to show him how to change the top but he had no trouble after that. I would recommend this for anyone who loves Star Wars!
