Who would have ever thought of this? May 22, 2012

This is a really interesting (and somewhat weird) combination of THREE things: Monopoly, pens, and pinball. Of course, it's logical to see the franchise turn into a pinball machine (They had definitely done that before), but to see a PEN that is also a mini pinball game is just plain crazy!
The pen's ink never seems to run out. EVER. I'm serious. I think I bought this thing when it came out or something (as far back as 2004), and I still use it. I swear it never runs out of ink! That's awesome!
As for the game itself...Well you gotta get used to it. The pinball actually works. But the balls always drop quickly, since this isn't real pinball, nor is it electronic. In order to get the maximum enjoyment out of this, you gotta watch the ball fall onto a flipper, and just juggle the ball from one flipper to the other. Don't think you could actually hit the Chance/Community Chest cards.
But their use comes at certain times when the ball is launched. Chances (no pun intended) are the ball would land on one of the cards. Interestingly, you could use one of the flippers to tilt the card, and the ball could fall into the hole nearby. This certainly seems like another way to play the game /:-)
Overall, this is one strange doodad. Yet, it can be fun, and there's definitely nothing like it. I wish there are more pens that are like this one.
