I have fond memories of playing with tops when I was young. Duncan tops used to be made of wood, well made and durable. I can't say the same for this one. It is plastic, much too light in weight to work properly.

I ordered a Duncan Imperial SPINTOP but received a Duncan Imperial YOYO.
My grandchildren (still) were excited and interested in learning, so I kept the item sent.

Purchased these for my kids as stocking stuffer so that they could see what a top was - and this piece of junk showed up. The bottom doesnt even spin around, it comes with some piece of string you are supposed to wrap around the top and toss it. The first time we tried that the thing broke into two pieces. My 5yr old looks at me like "what kind of junk did you play with as a kid dad?". I can't believe they actually sell this junk do not even think about ordering this item. Buy a gyroscope instead at least that is still durable (I hope).
