 What's the point if you can't play with it??? Jan 11, 2009

I love Boggle. I was so excited that this came out because I was hoping to steal time to play it with my co-workers at work. But since there is a Boggle logo on the top of the box that holds the letters, it's not possible to play because you can't see the middle letters. How was this missed by the manufacturer??? It's useless. It reduces it to a decoration for your pen cup. Boo.

This is a fun toy to have on your desk at work but when it comes down to it the actual usefulness is lacking. As another reviewer stated the name Boggle is stamped into the top of the plastic casing making it impossible to see the words. While you can see through the sides its at a terrible angle.
A few things could make this actually fun to play with. 1 - Remove the Boggle tag from the top and if you really need it on there place it on the plastic holder for the hourglass. 2 - Instead of a square casing make it a dome so it can easily be seen at any angle and you can sit around the break table and play with your co-workers.
What it comes down to is this novelty item is more a novelty decoration than a usable product, unless you are just going to write with it. I recommend passing on this purchase and buying one of the others available; Etch-a-sketch, Connect four, even Yahtzee.
